Car loans issued in January decreased by almost 7% in Bashkiria
In January 2022, residents of Bashkiria received 2,576 car loans, compared to 2,768 car loans in January 2021. The decrease was -6.9%, according to the National Bureau of Credit Histories.
According to the results of the first month of the year, the republic is in the top ten regions of the Russian Federation - in sixth place in terms of car loans number.
In December 2021, credit institutions provided residents of Bashkiria with 2,767 loans to purchase a car.
In total, in January 2022, 59.7 thousand car loans were issued in Russia for new and used cars. So far, this is the smallest number of car loans issued since the “quarantine” May 2020, when there were given 49.2 thousand of them. The total decline continues for the fifth month in a row after the “peak” in August when Russians issued 90 thousand car loans.
