

The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia has included Medglas LLC in the register of the priority development area (PDA) of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The company plans to launch in Blagoveshchensk PDA the production of medical glass of the first hydrolytic class.
"The enterprise intends to create the first high-tech production of borosilicate glass of the first and second hydrolytic classes in the Russian Federation for the pharmaceutical industry. This will ensure import substitution in a strategically important industry for the country. It is planned to allocate more than 4 billion rubles to implement the investment project," Prime Minister of the Government RB Andrey Nazarov said.
The investment project is intended to be implemented until 2030 inclusive.
"The project will contribute to the development of the real sector of the republic's economy, as well as to the balanced development of the Blagoveshchensk single-industry town. It is planned to create 318 jobs at the new production, which will also positively impact the economy and the living standards of citizens," First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy RB Rustam Muratov said.
Now "Blagoveshchensk" PDA has 26 registered residents.
