Gross grain harvest in Bashkiria is projected at 3.8 million tons - Ministry of Agriculture RB

Thirty new investment projects in the agro-industrial complex of the republic have been announced today for a total of 29.1 billion rubles. Deputy Prime Minister of the Government - Minister of Agriculture of Bashkortostan Ilshat Fazrakhmanov said today at the zonal agronomic conference that 69 investment projects worth 123.7 billion rubles were in the active implementation.

The Deputy Prime Minister estimated the forthcoming sowing campaign at 20 billion rubles. In the cost item, the most significant are mineral fertilizers (5.4 billion rubles) and fuel and lubricants (3.3 billion rubles).

In 2022, farmers expect to produce gross agricultural products in the amount of 212 billion rubles, which is 21% higher than last year. The gross grain harvest is projected at 3.8 million tons. The villagers plan to produce and process 825,000 tons of marketable milk. This year it is planned to purchase 840 units of equipment, including 240 grain harvesters and 600 tractors.

“We estimate our harvest potential at 5 million tons; there are all possibilities for this. We have good equipment, a seed fund. Our domestic consumption is 2 million, the rest is all for sale,” the Minister said.
