First charging station for electric buses appeared in Ufa
In Ufa, on Kommunisticheskaya Street, near house No. 14, the city's first charging station for electric buses was installed. It is necessary to ensure the test operation of the KAMAZ-6282 electric bus, which has recently arrived at the Ufa trolleybus depot No. 1.
The new public transport will be operated on one of the city's trolleybus routes for about four months. This will reveal all its pros and cons, especially in challenging winter conditions.
The KAMAZ-6282 electric bus is supplied with lithium-titanate batteries. Their features are the ability to work at low temperatures (up to −40 ° C) and ultra-fast charging (up to 6 minutes). The full capacity of the battery provides a mileage of about 70 kilometers. Special charging stations at the endpoints of the routes can charge up to 80% of the battery capacity in 20 minutes.
