NEFAZ plans to produce up to 3,000 passenger buses annually
The Neftekamsk Automobile Plant (NEFAZ) plans to increase production capacity to produce up to 3,000 passenger buses annually. To this end, in 2022–2024, the assembly, painting, and welding workshops will be gradually modernized. The total amount of financing will reach more than 4 billion rubles.
NEFAZ finished last year with a financial result of 33 billion rubles. The company has delivered 1,787 passenger buses, 339 electric buses, and 3,084 units of semi-trailers and trailers to customers.
The positive results of the company's work in 2021 were noted today at a briefing session in the government of Bashkiria by the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov.
Over the past two years, NEFAZ's revenue has increased by 70%. According to the management's plans, in 2022, the company's income should increase by another 11% and amount to 36.7 billion rubles.
Recall that NEFAZ is the city-forming enterprise of Neftekamsk with a staff of about 6,250 specialists. The average salary in 2021 was increased by 13.5%; this year, another 5% is expected.
