There are 2.1 thousand rural health stations in Bashkortostan. Last year, 73 modular health stations were installed in the region and eight permanent stations were built. The plan for 2022 includes the construction of 44 modular rural health stations as part of the regional program for the modernization of the primary health care system.

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Health of the Republic Maxim Zabelin, at the next Health Care Hour session, noted that in 2021 they had carried out major repairs in 24 medical institutions and erected two new facilities - a polyclinic in the Chekmagush district center, as well as a children's and an adult polyclinic in Birsk. They are planned to be put into operation in March-April 2022. In 2021, more than 2.5 thousand units of diagnostic and medical equipment were purchased to equip the medical institutions of the region with modern facilities. In 2022, they plan to purchase another 1.5 thousand different complexes and devices.

As part of the primary health care modernization program, 77 cars were also purchased. In 2022, contracts for the supply of 85 special vehicles were signed.

The Head of the Republic presented the checking results of the rural health stations put into operation in 2019-2020. On behalf of Radiy Khabirov, it was carried out by the Control Department of the Head of Bashkortostan.

Thus, 19 out of 151 checkpoints were closed. As representatives of the municipalities explained, due to the lack of paramedics, medical services are rendered part-time by specialists from nearby settlements.

Radiy Khabirov instructed the district administrations to permanently attract paramedics to work in rural health stations.

"This is the wrong situation. It is important not only to build new stations but also to provide them with qualified personnel. In a month, we will again check these facilities and the schedule for receiving local residents," said Radiy Khabirov.

The Head of the Region also instructed the Government of Bashkortostan to work out additional measures to support medical workers who come to the countryside. This issue will be discussed at one of the next Health Care Hour sessions.
