

Bashkortostan, Altai Territory, Sverdlovsk Region, and Khabarovsk Territory in 2021 became leaders in the implementation of RES 2.0 tools. Veronika Nikishina, Director General of the Russian Export Center, announced this. Webinar following the implementation of the Regional Export Standard 2.0. took place on January 27.
The leading regions, which, with the obligatory 11 instruments RES 2.0, successfully implemented 14 were Altai Territory, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Sverdlovsk Region, Khabarovsk Territory. In addition, the Moscow, Oryol, Tver, Kursk regions, the city of Moscow, and the republics of Karelia and Crimea have implemented about 50% of the RES 2.0 tools ahead of schedule.
"According to the results of 2021, we hit the list of leaders among the Russian constituent entities, having introduced 14 instruments out of 15 of the Regional Export Standard 2.0. The percentage of implementation was 92.6%. With the help of the regional export standard, we consolidated a set of measures to stimulate companies' export activities and create an effective export support infrastructure. It is important that the document contains unified approaches to creating favorable conditions for exports, taking into account regional specifics, which, in turn, will allow for the comprehensive development of an export support system in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation," First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB, Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy, Rustam Muratov said.
Also, representatives of the Altai Territory, Khabarovsk Territory, and Sverdlovsk Region shared their experience implementing the Regional Export Standard 2.0.
In order to fulfill the task set, the national "International Cooperation and Export" project provides for activities, targets, and results aimed at increasing the volume of exports. One of the key activities of the federal project for export development in the Russian constituent entities is the introduction of RES 2.0 in the regions.
