Today, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy Rustam Muratov, at a working group meeting on the cooperation development between Kazakhstan and Bashkortostan, marked the working group abilities as a good tool for dialogue between enterprises, authorities, and mutual trade development.
According to him, following the results of mutual visits of the Bashkortostan and Kazakhstan delegations, the road map has been significantly expanded, which included 69 items. The estimated volume of investments for the current projects of the road map is about 80 billion rubles. Some of its items have already begun to be implemented. In particular, an agreement was signed between the Tuymazinsky concrete truck plant, the NefAZ plant, and the Kazakhstani enterprise KAMAZ Engineering to supply dump trucks and trailers to Kazakhstan.
A promising direction is the supply of parts produced at KumAPP in cooperation with aircraft repair plant No. 405. The contract is being prepared, and the range of items is being determined. In addition, Kazakhstan's needs for Ka-32 A11 VS and Ka-226 helicopters are under study with a certain potential for cooperation here.
Favorable connections have been established in trade and agriculture. Kazakhstani enterprises through the Agropark "Eurasia" began the supply of fruit and vegetables under the signed agreements during the International Business Week, held in Ufa in December last year.
The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government dwelled separately on the project on constructing an oriented strand board plant.
The Kazakhstani company "Mega Smart", whose representatives are in the republic these days, became interested in the project. The volume of capital investments is estimated at 100-120 million euros. The project will be implemented in 2022–2027; over 300 jobs will be created at the enterprise for deep wood processing. The new plant's capacity will be 231,000 cubic meters of products per year. A site has been identified for construction in Sibay, where there is the necessary infrastructure nearby, and issues on forest resources have been worked out.
The Head of Bashkortostan stressed that the deep wood processing project was of great interest to both parties and instructed the relevant ministries and departments to assist in its implementation.
