Bashkiria residents can again use tourist cashback

This year the federal budget allocates 5 billion rubles to support domestic tourism. The conditions of the tourist cashback remain the same: 20% of the cost of the tour or accommodation will be refunded, a maximum of 20 thousand rubles. One needs to pay for the trip with the Mir payment card and can buy an unlimited number of tours from one card.

“From January 18, the fifth stage of sales is launched, which will last until April 12. The program includes trips and hotel accommodation bookings starting from two nights. Until April 30, you can choose a vacation in any region, go on cruises - from the beginning of navigation and until June 1,” Acting Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism of Bashkiria Rinat Fatkullin said.

According to the State Committee, in 2021, Bashkortostan became the leader in terms of the number of trips sold to sanatoriums among the “non-resort” regions of Russia. The program involved 24 hotels and six tour operators. There were 120 tours to Bashkiria, sold by 63 Russian tour operators.

Since the beginning of 2021, almost 1.7 million Russians have used the program. They purchased tours and hotel stays for more than 34 billion rubles. The return to their cards amounted to 6.7 billion rubles.
