In 2021, Bashkiria planned to allocate 2.8 billion rubles for subsidies to agricultural enterprises. However, the total amount increased to 5.7 billion rubles due to additional funds.
“Republican agrarians, even in the challenging year 2021, continued to actively acquire equipment, breeding stock, seeds, and fertilizers largely due to the good state support,” Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic, Minister of Agriculture, said. “This is a promising reserve for the coming seasons.”
According to the Minister of Finance of Bashkiria, Lira Igtisamova, the above methods of supporting farmers help to increase the efficiency of agricultural producers and attract investment in the industry.
Agricultural producers could reimburse with allocated subsidies expenses for purchasing agricultural machinery and equipment, mineral fertilizers, breeding animals, insurance, loans, etc. It should be noted that before the pandemic in 2019, this support was provided at the level of 5.3 billion rubles.
