Residents of Bashkortostan priority development areas invested 5.4 billion rubles in economy

In 2021, 31 residents of Bashkortostan's priority development areas (PDAs) were registered with the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. This is 29% more than in 2020. First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustam Muratov spoke on the topic.

"The republic has exceeded the plan established at the federal level by 24% in terms of attracted PDA residents. Now there are 99 resident enterprises in the priority development areas. This indicates the creation of favorable conditions for investment activities in Bashkortostan. By the end of 2021, PDA residents have already invested 5.4 billion rubles in the republic's economy and created 3.6 thousand jobs," Rustam Muratov said.

At the moment, Bashkortostan ranks second among the regions of Russia in the number of attracted investors for PDA. At the same time, 11 applications of companies for "residency" are currently under consideration, which at the beginning of 2022 will already emerge into Bashkortostan PDA residents.

This year, it is planned to continue implementing investment projects with a total investment of over 52 billion rubles and the creation of 8,000 jobs. Also, federal support measures will be used to develop single-industry municipalities.

Now, not only preferential conditions for investors have been created at the PDAs of the republic, but also infrastructural ones. 4 industrial parks operate, and investment sites are prepared.
