Traveling to other countries, we are making our way for Bashkir business: Radiy Khabirov

The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, shared the results of his trips to Kazakhstan and Belarus during his extensive interview on December 28.

“Two weeks ago, a delegation from Kazakhstan visited Bashkiria, and in mid-January, it is arriving again in an expanded format with the Minister of Trade and Integration as the head of the delegation. They are very fast-moving, interested here. It will be seen further whether they invest with us, or we invest with them, whether the trade turnover increases. This applies both to Belarus and Kazakhstan. The economic structure of our regions is similar - they have what we need. There is oil production in Kazakhstan; we produce oilfield equipment. There is agricultural machinery in Belarus - our machine operators like it very much. We need five hundred units of only caterpillar tractors. Moreover, we understand that if we want to solve something, we need to strive to meet with the leaders of these countries,” the Head of Bashkiria said.

According to him, there is already a roadmap for cooperation with Belarus and Kazakhstan.

“We will continue this work and will bring it closer: launch flights and cultural exchange. Besides, we will open markets for our enterprises, ” Radiy Khabirov marked.

The Head of the Republic also shared his plans to work with the DPR and LPR.

“We are not about war; we are about well-being so that people can earn money and develop,” Khabirov said.
