Over the next three years, more than 1.1 billion rubles will be allocated from the federal budget for student sports development in Russia.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved the rules for granting subsidies for these purposes.
State support will be directed to the Russian Student Sports Union. At the expense of federal funds, the organization will be able, among other things, to conduct scientific and practical conferences, methodological seminars, and forums on the development of student sports.
Subsidies will be provided within the "Development of physical culture and sports" state program. Funds for this have already been provided in the federal budget. In particular, in 2022, more than 479.2 million rubles will be allocated; in 2023 - more than 439.5 million rubles, in 2024 - more than 279.8 million rubles.
