The Polief company continues the construction of a solar power plant in the Blagoveshchensk region. All solar power plant photovoltaic modules have already been installed; the facility is about 80% ready. The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, announced this on social media.
The design capacity of the power plant will be about 4.9 MW, which is 7.1% of the capacity of all operating solar power plants in our republic. Investments in the project will amount to more than a quarter of a billion rubles. The solar panel project at Polief will reduce the carbon footprint of production and significantly increase the share of green electricity in the company's energy balance. The planned commissioning date of the facility is the first quarter of 2022.
"We have already built solar power plants in Burzyansky, Khaibullinsky, Sterlibashevsky, Gafuriysky districts; a station is being built in Agidel. We have crossed the 90 MW mark in terms of the installed capacity of solar panels and are among the top five in Russia. The next step is to develop wind energy since we have such conditions on the Belebey Upland. We are also working on options for constructing a new hydroelectric complex, and we will promote the hydropower industry," Radiy Khabirov posted.
