The industrial production index (IPP) in Bashkiria reached 121.1% in November this year by November 2020. In general, for 11 months of 2021, it amounted to 106.2% compared to January-November last year, according to the statisticians of the republic.
In Russia, the industrial production index amounted to 107% in November, and in January-November 2021 - 105.2%.
"Three sectors of industrial production in the region have shown positive dynamics since the beginning of the year - manufacturing (107.1%), energy (107.3%) and water supply, wastewater disposal, waste collection and disposal, elimination of pollution (123.5%)", Bashkortostan Statistics Agency stated.
In the raw materials sector, a decrease of 2.2% was recorded compared to January-November last year. Including the provision of services in mining - by 9.9%, the extraction of other minerals - by 8.4%.
"At the same time in the republic, there is an increase in the production of crude oil and natural gas - by 1.8% compared to January-November last year, as well as in the extraction of metal ores - by 4.1%," the statisticians concluded.
