Technopark Salavat will accommodate six projects in chemistry and petrochemistry at Alga SEZ

Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Ilshat Tazhitdinov said that in the outgoing year, three meetings of the Expert Council of the Alga SEZ were held, at which business plans of five companies were considered and approved. The volume of investments announced by new residents is about 14 billion rubles; they plan to create more than 350 new jobs. Another resident is at the construction stage - Factory ZASPORT company. Two projects are undergoing state ecological expertise. These are the companies "M Sintez" and "Financial Group "Doga." Four residents are at the design stage - Optimum Solar RUS, P Solaris, SVEM, and ZS AGRO HOLDING. The OLIMEX company, which became a resident only at the beginning of December, plans to start design work in the first quarter of 2022.

Speaking about the negotiating portfolio of the Alga SEZ, the Vice Prime Minister of the government noted that 13 projects totaling 45.5 billion rubles were currently in active development. The company "Industrial Technopark" Salavat "on the third site of the Alga SEZ plans to create six high-tech projects in the field of chemistry and petrochemistry. Two projects from this list - the production of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and petrochemical catalysts - have already been approved by the Expert Council. The implementation of the technopark's plans, together with the production facilities of the M Sintez and Doga companies, will make it possible to form a cluster of low-tonnage chemistry enterprises focused on the production of high value-added products, including those that have no analogs in Russia.

The Vice Prime Minister also outlined the key development objectives of the Alga SEZ for 2022. Among them - the inclusion of at least five more companies in the register of SEZ residents, the identification of new sites and investment projects for the expansion of the Alga SEZ, approval of the project for the creation of the "Salavat" technopark on the third site of the SEZ with the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, as well as the completion of the first stage by the end of the year construction of crucial objects of transport, engineering, and energy infrastructure of sites No. 1 and No. 3.
