Economic recovery is in full swing in Bashkiria - Rustam Muratov

The economic recovery of Bashkiria is in full swing, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the region Rustam Muratov said at the International Business Week in Ufa.

As Rustam Muratov emphasized, 2021 was ending well for the region's economy; many indicators had already reached pre-crisis values.

"The volume of investments in the regional economy for two quarters of this year caused a certain stir. The third quarter showed good figures: the volume of investments amounted to 103.6 percent. We will finish the year even better. In many respects, we have taken leading positions. This is the efficiency of industrial policy, where our republic took first place, as well as the fact that we are in the top five regions-leaders in the national rating of the investment climate," Rustam Maratov commented to Bashinform News Agency following the results of the Open Dialogue plenary meeting.

Meanwhile, several indicators should be improved. First of all, we are talking about agriculture. The drought of 2021 significantly affected the economic performance of the agro-industrial complex.

As Bashinform reported earlier, the development of the fourth package of state support measures is coming to an end in Bashkiria. The dominant part of this package will be directed to agriculture, soil improvement, and modernization of all equipment.

The large-scale forum "International Business Week - 2021. Investments in the Future" will continue its work until December 18.
