We have studied the experience of our colleagues when creating our Alga SEZ. Our delegations visited Moscow, the Moscow region, and Tatarstan. Special economic zones have existed there for more than ten years, and they have accumulated significant experience, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, said.
"Communication with the team of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and Special Economic Zones of Russia helped us make the right decisions. We took into account the issue of transport and logistics accessibility, availability of labor resources, and engineering communications. Therefore, we decided to localize it in a large industrial hub with three industrial cities nearby. There, the availability of labor resources allows us to develop it. Next week we are starting a sewing production there, and we need 800 sewists. At the moment, we have found and trained 200. It is clear that we will solve this problem, but, as you can see, even in such a large industrial hub, such problems arise. Taking into account the experience of our colleagues and our best practices, we have localized the Alga SEZ where needed," Radiy Khabirov noted.
