Radiy Khabirov held 100th anniversary Investment Hour session

Today, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, held the 100th-anniversary thematic session in the "Investment Hour" format. It took place at the Ufimsky Industrial Park, where a new production complex was opened as part of the International Business Week. It was attended by the director of the Russian Export Center, Veronika Nikishina.

The meeting summed up the work of the Investment Committee of the republic and discussed projects in various industries and agriculture.

Vadim Sokolov, General Director of the "Bazy" agricultural enterprise, reported on the implementation of the investment program to expand milk production and processing and storage of grain in the video conferencing mode. The project received priority status in 2020. More than half of the planned investments of 789 million rubles were allocated for its implementation.

 General Director of the "Arkada" industrial association Yevgeny Romanov spoke about the implementation of a project to create a garment factory at the "Alga" special economic zone (SEZ). It was approved at the Investment Hour session in January 2020.

The builders have completed the construction of the administrative building and production facilities. Production start-up is scheduled for December 21, 2021.

 "We have already employed 194 people from Ishimbay and surrounding areas. Besides, in 2023-2024, we are planning to reach full capacity," Evgeny Romanov said.

  One of the first projects approved by the Investment Committee of Bashkortostan was the creation of an Elkom plant for the production of electrical enclosures in the Ufa region. Having invested about 650 million rubles, the investor built a modern high-tech complex with an area of ​​8 thousand square meters in the village of Zubovo, Ufimsky District.

 As the commercial director of Elkom LLC Yevgeny Titov said in a video conferencing mode, the company's products - wall and floor electrical enclosures - are planned to be supplied to enterprises and organizations of Bashkortostan, as well as other regions of Russia. This will make it possible to compete in the market with foreign manufacturers of similar equipment.

 Participants of the anniversary Investment Hour session also considered new projects planned for implementation in the republic.

 General Director of JSC "Farus" Linar Fattakhov presented the concept of creating a plant for the production of synthetic fatty alcohols in Bashkortostan. The approximate volume of investments in creating output can reach 12 billion rubles.

The Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, approved the presented initiative. He instructed the Ministry of Economic Development of the region to study with the investor potential sites to implement the project, including at "Alga" SEZ.

Project manager Irek Gabbasov spoke about the modernization of food production under the Nugush brand in the Meleuzovsky district. Having invested 617 million rubles, the investor intends to build a workshop for bottling beverages - kvass and mineral water - and upgrade equipment for baking bread and bakery products. To implement the project, they are already developing project documentation and selecting suppliers of technological equipment.

Following the discussion, the project received priority status with tax incentives.

 At the end of the meeting, the Head of Bashkortostan once again thanked the members of the Investment Committee for their productive work and presented state awards of the republic to specialists of enterprises and organizations for their significant contribution to work with investors.
