Bashkiria enterprise plans to assemble machine tools and security systems in Belarus

The ESM-Stankomontazh group of companies plans to create its subsidiary in the free economic zone “Vitebsk” in Belarus.

This was discussed during a working meeting of the Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovations of Bashkortostan Alexander Sheldyaev with the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, Peter Parkhomchik.

The Bashkortostan enterprise is ready to invest 1 million euros in the project with a planning horizon of 5 years and create more than 30 jobs. It is supposed that the enterprise will produce complex security and automation systems of CNC machines, special sharpening machines that were used to be manufactured by the liquidated VIZAS plant, as well as small-sized CNC lathes and milling machines.

Besides, the Minsk Motor Plant considered a possibility of using the products of the Ural Spring Plant and the Stankomontazh enterprise in the production cycle and creating an articulated trolleybus of especially large capacity manufactured by MAZ JSC - UTTZ JSC based on the MAZ-216 bus body, intended for operation in large cities of Russia with intensive and super-intensive passenger traffic.
