Bashkiria delegation will visit Republic of Belarus

 “We have a rich program ahead of us. Belarus is our important economic partner with close cooperation in mechanical engineering, machine-tool building, and agriculture. We have several issues to discuss, to strengthen our relations, ” the Head of the Region said.

Representatives of more than 40 republican companies will also take part in the visit. The Bashkir Soda Company, Bashkhim, Belebeevsky Avtonormal, Salavatsteklo, Bashinformsvyaz, Steklonit, Iskozh are among them.

Bashkortostan business people will discuss cooperation in agriculture with their colleagues from Belarus, the possibility of supplying Belarusian agricultural machinery to the Republic of Bashkortostan, and mutual participation in the exhibition and fair events interregional collaboration. It is planned to hold b2b negotiations between representatives of the business delegation and Belarusian companies.

Also, on December 7, business circles will take part in the presentation of the economic and investment potential of Bashkortostan.

At the end of 2020, the Republic of Belarus ranks fourth in the foreign trade turnover of Bashkortostan with a share of 7.0%. In January-September 2021, foreign trade turnover amounted to USD 217.2 million, exports - USD 134.7 million, imports - USD 82.5 million.

The bulk of exports was made up of supplies of chemical products, rubber, mineral products, metals and metal products, food products and raw materials, engineering products, and other goods. Imports consisted of supplies of engineering products, supplies of chemical products, textiles, and footwear, wood and pulp and paper products, metals and metal products, and food products.
