Modern metallurgical enterprise will be built in Blagoveshchensk

The new residents plan to create 210 jobs with a total investment of over 26 million rubles.

According to Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy Yekaterina Klikunova, Alliance-Metal will build a modern metallurgical enterprise in Blagoveshchensk, which will produce aluminum alloys and copper cathodes. The implementation of this investment project will provide the company using processed metal in the production process with high-quality products.

The volume of announced investments for the project exceeds 22 million rubles. The investor plans to create jobs for 195 people at the new production facility.

The business plan of the Katohim enterprise provides for the creation of an enterprise that provides specialized oilfield services to oil refineries and petrochemical plants in Russia and neighboring countries.

The Katokhim management plans to invest over 4 million rubles. The enterprise should create 15 new jobs.

In total, there are six single-industry monocities in Bashkiria: Belebey, Kumertau, Neftekamsk, Beloretsk, Blagoveshchensk and Uchaly. As of January 1, 2021, more than 400 thousand people live there - almost 10% of the republic's total population.

Five priority development areas function within their boundaries to ensure the balanced development of single-industry municipalities in the region: Belebey, Kumertau, Blagoveshchensk, Neftekamsk, and Beloretsk.

Blagoveshchensk is a mono-profile municipal entity of the third category. The town-forming enterprise is the Blagoveshchensk Valve Plant.

The PDA was created within the boundaries of the monocity of Blagoveshchensk on February 12, 2019. PDA residents can apply reduced tax rates, insurance premium rates, as well as other federal and regional preferences.
