209 enterprises became exporters in Bashkiria in first half of year

According to the Ministry of Finance RB, this indicates an improvement in the business climate and the effectiveness of state support for business.

Moreover, more and more companies do not supply goods and raw materials but high-tech services for export. In January - June 2021, 35 companies exported transport, telecommunications, and information services, 20 firms became exporters of construction services, 38 - services for the maintenance and repair of goods.

In Bashkiria, a number of measures to support exporters have been developed: subsidizing from the republican budget part of the costs of transporting goods abroad, reimbursing part of the costs of international certification of products and export cashback, the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations RB recalled. The region is implementing the "Express Export Aid" project, during which companies and entrepreneurs receive up-to-date expert advice. The "Express Export Aid" visited 37 municipalities, worked with 179 companies, of which 163 were small businesses.

Bashkortostan is one of the regions implementing the Export Standard for SMEs educational program, which operates within the International Cooperation and Export national project framework. This program is intended to become a driver of export growth for companies, as it allows experienced exporters of the region to prepare a business plan to enter new export markets and gain a foothold in existing ones.

In 2020, several directions of subsidies were created to provide support to export-oriented small and medium-sized businesses. This made it possible to support 93 organizations, the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations RB recalled.
