Industrial production growth amounted to 104.5 percent in Bashkiria for 10 months

According to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, in October 2021, the industrial production index was 104.9% compared to the same period last year. According to the results of January-October of this year, it was possible to maintain the growth rates at the level of 104.5%.

 "The highest pace was noted in the production of medicines by 2.3 times by January-October 2020, paper and paper products by 2.2 times. The manufacturing industry (105.6%), the energy sector (106.9%), water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal, elimination of pollution (124.0%) have also demonstrated steady growth since the beginning of the year," the Minister of Industry, Energy, and Innovations of Bashkortostan Alexander Sheldyaev noted.

 High growth rates in January-October this year compared to January-October last year were noted in the production of furniture (167.7%), printing activities (145.7%), finished metal products, except for machinery and equipment (135.9% ), leather and leather products (130.5%).

 A positive trend is also observed in the production of motor vehicles (124.5%), wood processing (120.1%), in the production of electrical equipment (119.2%), and metallurgical production (113.4%).

 Also, growth was shown by such industries as repair and installation of machinery and equipment (106.4%), mining of metal ores (103.7%), production of machinery and equipment not included in other groups (101.8%), rubber and plastic products (101.7%), other non-metallic mineral products (100.5%).
