Fitch Ratings Agency has affirmed Bashkiria's credit rating

This year the Fitch Ratings international rating agency has once again confirmed the long-term credit rating of the Republic of Bashkortostan at the BBB level with a stable outlook.

"The assessment of this international agency confirms the credit rating of the Republic of Bashkortostan at the investment level. This testifies to the effectiveness of the development course our region chosen by the leadership of the Republic of Bashkortostan," the Minister of Finance RB Lira Igtisamova noted.

The "Expert RA" rating agency confirmed the credit rating of the Republic of Bashkortostan on the national scale at "ruAA +". The rating outlook is Stable. Also, according to the review of the international rating agency Moody's Investors Service, the Republic of Bashkortostan rating remained at the same level - Ва1, the outlook is "Stable".

According to the Fitch Ratings methodology for assigning credit ratings to subnational entities, the "BBB" level is an investment category rating. This is the highest possible credit rating for Russian regions and cannot be higher than the sovereign rating of the Russian Federation (BBB/Stable Outlook).
