As of November 1, 2021, there were 58 thousand vacancies in the republican jobs bank, which is 53% or 20 thousand more than on May 1, 2020, when the lowest number of vacancies was recorded - 38 thousand (as of January 1, 2021 - 51 thousand vacancies, as of November 1, 2020 - 47 thousand vacancies).
This was announced by the Minister of Labor of Bashkiria Lenara Ivanova at a briefing session in the regional government on Monday, November 22.
Compared to the same period last year, the coefficient of tension in the registered labor market decreased from 2.7 to 0.6.
According to the minister, this was achieved due to the regulation of the labor market through interdepartmental interaction in developing forecasts and monitoring the state of the labor market, conducting career guidance events, organizing vocational training, and additional vocational education of citizens.
Working with socially vulnerable citizens also positively affected the state of the labor market, including employment and internships for people with disabilities, preservation, creation or equipping, quoting jobs for people with disabilities, internships for graduates, etc.
In Bashkiria, over ten months of 2021, the employment rate increased 2.5 times (from 26% to 63%). The temporary employment of citizens experiencing difficulties finding a job (from 658 to 2,166 people) showed more than three times growth. It was directed for retraining by 40% more citizens (from 5769 to 8050 people).
