

Salary expectations of Ufa residents are 19.5% lower than those of Russians as a whole, according to the Research Service hh.ru, which analyzed more than 2 million resumes in 23 largest Russian cities in October. Analysts have found in which of these cities applicants expect the highest salaries.
The capital of Bashkiria took ninth place in the ranking. Job seekers from Ufa expect an average salary of 42,413 rubles, which is 19.5% lower than in the country as a whole.
On average, in Russia, the expected salary was 52,703 rubles in October 2021.
Moscow expectedly took first place in the ranking of salary expectations. Muscovites searching for jobs expect an average salary of 76,405 rubles, which is 45% more than the average in Russia.
Applicants from St. Petersburg, who would like to earn an average of 54,498 rubles, are in second place. This is 3% more than in the country.
Yekaterinburg closed the top three with salary expectations of 45,706 rubles, which is 13% less than the average in Russia.
