Unemployed number was counted in Bashkiria

By the end of September this year, more than 35 thousand people were registered with the employment service of Bashkiria, the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reported.

Of these, almost 30 thousand people were officially recognized as unemployed, of which more than 23 thousand people received unemployment benefits.

The registered unemployment rate was 1.6% of the labor force. The general unemployment rate in June - August this year was 4.1 percent.

As the Bashinform News Agency previously reported, the number of workers aged 15 and older in June - August 2021 amounted to almost 1.899 million people in Bashkiria. Of these, about 1.820 million people were employed in the economy, another 79 thousand people were classified as unemployed. These are the data of a sample survey of the population conducted by statisticians of the region.
