Bashkiria plans to receive 9 billion rubles in dividends on state blocks of shares

Bashkiria plans to receive about 9 billion rubles of dividend payments on the state-owned blocks of shares of its enterprises. The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Bashkortostan Lira Igtisamova stated during the discussion of the draft budget of the republic for 2022.

According to Finance Minister RB, the bulk of dividend payments is possible from Bashneft and the Bashkir Soda Company. Currently, the republic owns 25% of the shares of PJSOC Bashneft transferred after the change of the company's owner in 2015. In addition, in September 2021, the Federal Property Management Agency transferred 38.3% of the shares of Bashkir Soda Company JSC from federal ownership to Bashkiria. Another 11.7% of the authorized capital of the company came under the management of Regional Fund JSC. Thus, the republic controls the controlling stake in BSС.

As Lira Igtisamova clarified, after a difficult 2020, the energy sector and macroeconomics situation has already stabilized, making it possible to count on an increase in dividends on state blocks of shares.

Currently, budget revenues of the republic for 2022 are forecasted at 228.3 billion rubles, expenses - 243.3 billion. The deficit is planned at 15 billion rubles. The sources of its funding have already been identified.
