Russian Government will support business during non-working days from October 30 to November 7

First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov, at a meeting with the President of Russia, proposed several measures to support the business if non-working days are introduced throughout the country.

He noted that, according to preliminary estimates, the revenue that representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in the country as a whole will not receive per day would amount to 4 billion rubles, and if we are talking about two weeks, then 60 billion rubles. We are talking about enterprises that provide catering services, hotel business, sports, and cultural organizations, excluding non-food trade.

Belousov offered to pay grants to the affected industries. The total amount will be 27 billion rubles, and their recipients are about two million people. The grants will cover the revenue shortfall. The collection of applications is supposed to be done remotely through the Federal Tax Service from November 1 to December 15. Moreover, the payments themselves are supposed to be done from November 15 to December 31.

He also proposed a second group of measures to support business - the resumption of the credit support program, which operated from March to July.

In his opinion, providing businesses with cheap loans with large installments is an adequate and correct measure.
