Bashkiria residents will be able to vote for Bashkir honey, koumiss, and kazylyk

Today the most competitive stage of the national competition of regional food brands "Tastes of Russia" - "People's Vote" has started.

 From October 20 to November 7, residents of each region will be able to vote for their three favorite brands. One needs to go to the competition website and select a region and brand name from the list to do this.

In the current season, the republic is represented by 15 Bashkir brands. These are Bashkir uchpochmak (pie), Bashkir talkan (flour), Craft chocolate from Bashkiria, Bashkir sauce, Dried ostrich fillet from Bashkiria, Bashkir koumiss (mare's milk), Bashkir non-alcoholic mead, Burzyansky wild-heave honey, Fedorovsky goose, Bashkir matured cheese, Bashkir honey cheese, mineral water "Kurgazak" and Bashkirsky honey - the bronze winner in the nomination "For the whole country" of the last year's season of the competition.

The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan called on residents to actively vote for their favorite food brands of the republic.

We add that in total, more than 700 applications from 84 regions of the country were received for the second National Competition of Regional Food Brands, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.

The finalists will be announced, and the winners will be awarded in November.

In 2020, over 1 million Russians took part in the popular vote of the competition, who identified three favorites among almost 500 brands.
