Two car factories ensured increase in vehicle production by 31.4% in Bashkiria

The figure is compared to January - August 2020. The growth rate was provided by the two largest transport enterprises of the republic - "NefAZ" and "Tuimazinsky Concrete Truck Plant", the Ministry of Industry of Bashkiria commented.

Both plants are subsidiaries of the KamAZ company. Neftekamsk plant increased production volumes by 21%: focusing on demand, the company is increasing passenger and electric buses' production. Since last year, the enterprise has been implementing a corresponding investment project worth more than 4.1 billion rubles, which will allow producing up to 3 thousand buses a year by 2024.

In September 2021, the plant signed an agreement for the supply of 364 gas-fueled buses to St. Petersburg in May 2022 (303 models - on liquefied natural gas and 61 - on compressed gas)

The Tuimazinsky Concrete Truck Plant will become the anchor resident of the technopark, where it is planned to manufacture a wide range of trailers. The creation of a technopark is estimated at 650 million rubles. 49% of it will belong to the republic, and 51% - to PJSC KamAZ. The industrial technopark will create new production facilities, more than 450 jobs, and in five years of operation, will contribute about 300 million rubles to the budget.
