Bashkiria will receive infrastructure budget loan of 14.8 billion rubles

These funds will be directed to constructing engineering, transport, and social infrastructure in new neighborhoods of Ufa and Neftekamsk.

Among the approved projects is the construction of a school in Ufa for 2,200 children, the reconstruction of roads, interchanges, the construction of the Southern bypass of Ufa with a bridge over the Belaya River, the purchase of buses for new neighborhoods, where it is planned to introduce more than 5.7 million square meters of housing and create about 20 thousand jobs.

Nine constituent entities of the Russian Federation will receive budget loans for infrastructure development. It became known on September 30 during a meeting of the Government Commission for Regional Development headquarters in the Russian Federation.

Russian President Vladimir Putin voiced the initiative to introduce infrastructure budget loans as a new mechanism for developing regions in his Address to the Federal Assembly. The loans are issued for specific projects that have passed the examination at a rate of no more than 3% per annum and a maturity of up to 15 years.
