It is planned to build 4.7 thousand hectares of soil improvement systems in Bashkortostan

In 2022, in the Republic of Bashkortostan, it is planned to build new soil improvement systems with a total area of ​​4,714 hectares. The project is being implemented as part of a new state program for the effective involvement of agricultural land in the turnover and the development of the soil improvement complex in Russia. The total cost of their construction is expected to exceed 1 billion rubles.
"Development of soil improvement is necessary to preserve and increase the potential of soil fertility, protect against erosion and minimize the impact of climatic anomalies on the harvest," Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov said, making a speech before the deputies of the State Assembly - Kurultay RB.
He noted that in 2030 the area of ​​irrigated land in the republic would be increased to 100 thousand hectares.
In 2021, in the Republic of Bashkortostan, two soil improvement systems for irrigation of agricultural land with a total area of ​​468 hectares worth 140 million rubles were put into operation.
Soil improvement systems were built at "Urozhay" LLC of the Aurgazinsky region, with a capacity of 258 hectares, and at the cooperative of the Salavat collective farm in the Meleuzovsky region, with a total of 210 hectares. According to Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, the stipulated amount of subsidies allocated from the federal budget for these projects amounted to 32.3 million rubles.
The state program for the effective involvement of agricultural land in the turnover and the development of a soil improvement complex from 2022 to 2031 will start working in the country from January 1, 2022. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved its resolution.
The program's objectives are to bring into circulation 13.2 million hectares of unused lands and preserve reclaimed soils in agricultural circulation on an area of ​​at least 3.6 million hectares. The document also formulates tasks for chemical amelioration on the area of ​​2.8 million hectares, ensuring a favorable water regime on ​​1.35 million hectares and collecting information on the current state of agricultural land.
It is planned to allocate more than 500 billion rubles from the federal budget until 2031 to achieve these goals. The money will be used to compensate farmers for the costs of soil improvement.
