Russian Government will support private industrial parks from 2022
In Russia, from 2022, a new measure of support for private industrial parks and industrial technoparks will begin to operate.
The rules for granting subsidies for these purposes were approved by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The recipients of the support will be the management companies of technoparks.
The payments will compensate for up to 50% of the costs of creating or modernizing infrastructure, purchasing equipment, connecting to utility networks and repaying loans.
The maximum amount of support will be 15 million rubles per hectare of the total area of the industrial park and 60 thousand rubles per 1 sq. m of the total area of buildings of technoparks.
Compensations will be distributed based on the results of the federal selection of projects. It will be held annually by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The amount of funding for this support measure will be determined within the next budget cycle.
Industrial parks and industrial technology parks are special sites prepared for the implementation of industrial projects. On their territory, conditions are created to ensure a quick launch of production, testing new technologies and bringing goods to the market. To date, more than 360 such sites are operating and are being created in Russia, of which more than 250 are private.
The government expects that this will become an additional incentive for the development of private industrial parks and industrial technoparks and will create new points of industrial growth in the regions.
