Nine companies become residents of "Alga" SEZ in Bashkiria

In June 2021, three companies received the status of a resident of the Alga special economic zone: LLC SVEM, which is implementing a project for the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene production, and two companies with Hungarian capital, Optimum Solar RUS and P Solaris, planning to build factories for production of solar panels and rotary mechanisms for them.

This was announced by Ilshat Tazhitdinov, First Deputy Prime Minister - Head of the Government Office of Bashkiria, at a briefing session on Monday, August 16.

Also, according to him, the business plan of a new applicant for resident status - LLC "ZS Agro Holding" has been approved. The company plans to place a soybean processing complex with a capacity of 60 tons per day at the second site of the SEZ.

The total volume of investments declared by SEZ residents is about 18 billion rubles, the number of jobs planned for creation is more than 1600 units.

The area occupied by them exceeded 82 hectares. Currently, nine more companies are considered as potential residents of the "Alga" SEZ, relations with which are at various stages of the negotiation process. The volume of the negotiation portfolio is estimated at about 40 billion rubles of investments, it is planned to create 550 jobs.

According to him, the Salavat Technopark has substantially revised the list of projects planned for implementation. The Government is considering an additional agreement, according to which the investor plans to create five legal entities under the "Alga" SEZ. The volume of investments in these projects is estimated at 34.5 billion rubles, the number of jobs is 317.

To date, three enterprises have already been registered in Sterlitamaksky district. These are the companies "Olymex", "Ecopolymer" and "Bioron".
