More than 1.1 million tons of grain were threshed in Bashkiria

Agrarians of the republic harvest more than 90 thousand hectares of grain crops every day.

Dry spring and summer initially did not allow counting on high yields. As of August 9, the average grain yield in the republic is 15 centners per hectare. Harvested 849 thousand hectares with grain crops; this is almost half of the total. Gross threshing amounted to 1 million 143 thousand tons.

“Losses from drought could have been much more critical; this year is no better than 2010 when the harvest was minimal,” Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB says - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. “However, our farmers have mastered modern technologies, learned to grow grain even in extreme conditions.”

So in the context of the districts, it is clear that where there are skills and technologies, the harvest is good. For example, in the Aurgazinsky region, the yield exceeds 25 centners per hectare, and the gross harvest is 78 thousand tons.

In the Chekmagushevsky region, more than 78 thousand tons of grain were also harvested. However, with a yield of almost 23 c/ha, the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan press service explained.
