It is planned to open flights to Tel Aviv and resume flights to Vienna from Ufa

After the opening of the borders from Ufa, flights to Tel Aviv are planned, flights to Vienna will be resumed, and in 2022-2024, residents of Bashkiria will be able to fly direct flights to Germany.
There is a significant increase in traffic to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
At present, the Ufa airport operates flights to Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and Belarus; it is planned to increase frequencies and open new flights to the EEU countries.
At the end of 2020, the passenger traffic of the Ufa airport amounted to 2,376,013 passengers (a decrease of 33 percent). The airport's net profit amounted to 728 million rubles.
Today, the decrease in traffic volume for international flights relative to the pre-crisis period is more than 50%. At the same time, the demand for transportation to the CIS and EEU countries has increased.
It is also expected to open charter flights to Egypt, which will also become an additional driver of passenger traffic growth.
Currently, 56 percent of flights to Russian regions are operated bypassing Moscow.
If the epidemiological situation stabilizes and charter flights to Egyptian resorts are opened by the end of 2021, in that case, the expected passenger traffic will amount to 3.75 million passengers (+ 5% to the pre-crisis level of 2019).
It was agreed to allocate subsidies from the budget of the Republic of Bashkortostan in the amount of 120 million rubles to preserve and develop the existing flight and passenger traffic program for 2021.
Subsidizing regional transportation from the budget of the Republic of Bashkortostan makes it possible to attract 5.7 rubles of foreign investment for each ruble invested: 3.6 rubles from the federal budget and 2.1 rubles from the budgets of other regions.
