Radiy Khabirov: "Yakty-Kul" spa resort has successfully overcome challenging coronavirus period

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, visited the Yakty-Kul spa resort during his working trip to the Abzelilovsky district. The Head of the Region examined the medical and residential buildings and discussed the prospects for further development with the institution's administration.
The "Yakty-Kul" sanatorium is one of the oldest health resorts in Bashkortostan; it began its operation in 1958 on the shores of the deepest lake in the region - Bannoye.
The healing mud is obtained here, and this is one of the key advantages of the Yakty-Kul.
The director of the sanatorium, Oleg Pisarev, said that from July 1, 2020, the institution was re-profiled into an observation station for residents of the republic who work in other regions of the country on a rotational basis. From July 21, 2020, following the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor, the sanatorium resumed the provision of spa and recreation services.
In addition, the territory was partially landscaped, and this work will continue in the health resort.
"The Yakty-Kul spa resort has successfully overcome the challenging period of the coronavirus and continues to rehabilitate residents. But we should remember that we planned to work out a strategy for developing a health-improving cluster in the Trans-Urals. This is not only Yakty-Kul but also the Berezki recreation center and other institutions. It is important to maximize the recreational potential of the republic and make comfortable conditions for the rest of Bashkortostan residents and guests," Radiy Khabirov said.
The Yakty-Kul sanatorium has the only laboratory in the region for obtaining radon with the possibility of a 15-fold increase in gas concentration. This uniqueness makes it possible to use radon in the treatment of a wide range of diseases.
