Bashkiria industrial production index is below national average

The industrial production index of Bashkiria for the first half of 2021 amounted to 102.2 percent against the national average of 104 percent.

“The average in Russia is 104 percent; we have to catch up. We have some reserves in this area. I believe that by the end of the year, the growth of industrial production will be more significant, ” Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, said on Monday at a briefing session in the government.

Meanwhile, the volume of housing commissioning in the region in January-June of this year increased by more than a quarter, or by 125.7 percent.

“The rate of housing construction in the region has grown by a quarter. This is an excellent indicator, due to our builders. In the coming days, we will meet with our developers and see what else we can help them with, ” Radiy Khabirov concluded.
