Investor will build largest Russian honey processing plant in Ufa

The Prime Minister of the Government, RB Andrei Nazarov, announced the construction of the largest plant for processing honey products in Ufa. The volume of investments of LLC Bee Happy will amount to 3.7 billion rubles. The project on creating a large-scale production of honey products in Bashkiria was included in the Priority Investment Projects List in Bashkiria.

According to the project, it is planned to open new apiaries in 12 districts of the republic. The first apiaries will be created in Burzyansky, Ishimbaysky, Kugarchinsky, and Kuyurgazinsky districts. The production will create 158 jobs. Work will begin this year; the project will be implemented until 2028.

It is also planned to create a "Honey Academy" in the republic, a fund for innovations and expertise for beekeeping. The main types of products will be lime honey - 2,070 tons, monofloral - 2,579 tons, buckwheat - 677 tons, mixed flower - 1156 tons annually.

The investor expects to receive subsidies to reimburse part of the cost of purchasing agricultural machinery and equipment and corporate property tax exemption. It is reported that the products will be export-oriented due to the creation of an internationally accredited laboratory for testing the quality of honey.
