Complaints about diorite quarry stopped in Bashkiria after Rosprirodnadzor interference

After the Sangalyk diorite quarry in the Uchalinsky district was suspended for ten days in June of this year, the Mansurovo village residents' complaints about the dust stopped. The acting head of the South Ural interregional department of Rosprirodnadzor, Roman Bolotov, told Bashinform about this.
"Now the company follows the technology, has turned on dust collectors, sprinkles with water, and there is no dust", Roman Bolotov said.
In a month, the quarry will undergo a scheduled inspection by Rosprirodnadzor.
Recall that in June this year, after a visit to Bashkiria, the head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources (Rosprirodnadzor) Svetlana Radionova, the court suspended the work of the Sangalyk diorite quarry in the Uchalinsky district.
"The management of the most expensive crushed stone quarry in the country does nothing to comply with environmental requirements," the head of the federal service said at the time. "In early May, the department demanded that the enterprise start modernizing hazardous production and pay off 10-year arrears in payments for negative impact on the environment."
According to Svetlana Radionova, instead of modernization, the Bashkir enterprise has repeatedly exceeded harmful substances and dust in the air and ignored the requirements of previous inspections.
Residents of the village of Mansurovo, Uchalinsky District, have been complaining about Sangalyk Diorite Quarry LLC for several years. As a result of its activity, dust is systematically emitted into the atmospheric air due to the lack of preliminary purification, completely covering the village, where more than 800 people live.
