Sterlitamak plant has increased import substitution in metalworking and mechanical engineering
The "Inmash" plant is increasing the import-substituting production of parts for machine-tool building, aviation, shipbuilding, automobile, and oil-producing industries, the Ministry of Industry of Bashkiria reported. The enterprise is the successor of the Sterlitamak plant of high-precision machine tools, specializing in the production of ball screw drives.
“We are developing new linear drives: ground precision ball screws for imported machine tools, actuators, sliding screw-nut gears, transport screws,” Abdumalik Rakhimov, deputy general director of the company said.
Most of these parts are produced in Germany, Sweden, Taiwan, Japan, Ukraine. Sterlitamak plant is the only Russian manufacturer of ball screw drives and sliding screw nuts.
The main consumers of the products of the Inmash plant are machine-building enterprises in different parts of the country.
Concern Inmash LLC was registered in Sterlitamak in May 2009. The founder of the company is businessman Mukhsinjon Rakhimov, who also owns companies in Moscow and Ufa.
According to the service of RBC, Inmash's revenue in 2020 amounted to 110.5 million rubles, gross profit (revenue minus cost, before taxes and other payments) - 3.3 million rubles. The plant employs about a hundred employees.
