Lasselsberger will invest another 6.3 billion rubles in ceramic tiles production in Bashkiria

Yesterday, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, and the founder of Lasselsberger, Joseph Lasselsberger, signed an agreement between the Government of the republic and the company on intentions to expand production in the Ufa region.

The investment project with a total cost of 6.3 billion rubles is intended until 2026 and provides an increase in the production of ceramic tiles by 10 million square meters per year. At the same time, the company will create 270 new jobs.

The parties' interaction under the agreement includes developing a business plan, project, financial and technical documentation, and forming a set of state support measures for the project.

Before signing the agreement, Radiy Khabirov and Joseph Lasselsberger held a working meeting, where they discussed the company's current work in the region and the prospects for implementing new projects.

"Bashkortostan is very friendly and open for investments, so we localize the company's projects here. I am confident that the agreement will help to develop our business. It will provide new jobs for the republic. We are confident that Bashkortostan will always help in resolving emerging issues. We are happy to work here, and we have, one might say, family relations with the republic; we solve all problems at once," Mr. Lassersberger noted.
