"House of Ronald McDonald" social hotel to be built in Ufa

It is planned to build a "House of Ronald McDonald" family social hotel in Ufa, Lenara Ivanova, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Protection of Bashkortostan informs.

A preliminary agreement on constructing such a social hotel was reached at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum with the general director of McDonald's in Russia, Mark Karena.

"We agreed that at the end of June Marc Carena would come to our investment Sabantuy in the Trans-Urals and sign an agreement with the Head of Bashkortostan on constructing the Ronald McDonald House at the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital - a social hotel for mothers who bring children for long-term treatment", Lenara Ivanova told the BST TV channel.

In addition to constructing the social hotel in the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital, McDonald's also plans to increase its network of fast food outlets in Bashkortostan to seven new enterprises over the next five years.

In addition, the preliminary agreement with Marc Carena provides for an increase in the share of Bashkir-made goods in the McDonald's network of enterprises.

The total volume of capital investments attracted to Bashkortostan is expected to reach 650 million rubles.

In case of successful implementation of its projects, the McDonald's company will create up to 600 new jobs in the republic, Labor Minister Lenara Ivanova concluded.
