Bashkiria Ministry of Agriculture will continue cooperation with St. Petersburg Tractor Plant

Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, paid a working visit to the St. Petersburg Tractor Plant, where he met with the General Director of the enterprise Sergei Serebryakov. The meeting was held within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2021).

Petersburg Tractor Plant JSC and the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan signed an agreement on providing an additional discount for agricultural producers of the republic in the amount of 5% for the purchase of Kirovets tractors in 2021. Now it is planned to extend it over to 2022.

"In the last five years alone, agricultural organizations of the republic have acquired more than 180 Kirovets tractors. In total, there are more than 930 such tractors in the agrarian sector of the republic," Ilshat Fazrakhmanov noted.

He added that agricultural producers in the region had already sent applications to purchase more than 60 Kirovets tractors this year.

Ilshat Fazrakhmanov also presented Sergei Serebryakov with the Certificate of Honor of Bashkortostan signed by the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov.

Measures of state support for agricultural enterprises of the republic provide for the provision of subsidies for the purchase of new tractors of the Kirovets make. Under the program for updating the technical fleet of the agro-industrial complex, up to 50% of the costs of purchasing new equipment and up to 60% of the costs of overhauling and modernizing tractors in operation in specialized repair enterprises are compensated from the republican budget.
