11 billion rubles of private investment will be allocated for Ufa Eastern exit construction

About 11 billion rubles of private investments will be directed to constructing the Eastern exit from Ufa, Deputy Prime Minister of Bashkortostan Raif Abdrakhimov stated.
As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, on June 3, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the largest concession agreement in Russia would be signed on the construction of a new exit from Ufa to the federal highway M-5 Ural (Eastern exit) "between the leadership of Bashkortostan, VTB Bank, and VEB.RF Development Corporation.
As noted by Raif Abdrakhimov, private investments into the project mean for Ufa residents, first of all, the acceleration of the construction of the Eastern exit.
"We plan to complete its construction by the end of 2023," the Deputy Prime Minister said and added that the project for constructing the Eastern exit from Ufa had already been recognized as "the best concession agreement and the best private investment agreement in Russia."
Recall that the construction of the Eastern exit from Ufa resumed in January 2020.
The general contractor of the facility is the Turkish company Limak-Marashavtodorogi.
By the end of 2023, it is planned to build a high-speed four-lane highway with a total length of 13.8 km, a bridge with an overpass across the Ufa River with a length of 2.7 km, two sections of an underground tunnel with two lanes in each. The estimated traffic intensity will be 22,700 vehicles per day.
The total cost of the project is 33.5 billion rubles.
