Bashkiria agro-industrial complex shipped more than half of planned volume of products for export

By the end of May, exports of agricultural products from Bashkiria reached $ 79 million. More than half of the annual plan, $ 157.3 million, was fulfilled in five months, the Ministry of Agriculture noted.

Traditionally, the fat and oil industry provides the main share of agricultural exports - 61.2%. Grain crops are in second place - 26.9%, then followed by food and processing industry products.

In 2020, the volume of exports of the agro-industrial complex of Bashkiria amounted to $ 177.7 million (with a target of $ 115 million). By 2024, it is planned to ship products for $ 203 million.
