Tourist information center is planned to open in Ufa

In the capital of Bashkiria, it is planned to open a tourist information center at the Akhmet-zaki Validi National Library.

Currently, three such centers are already operating in the republic - in the Ishimbaysky (Toratau Geopark), Nurimanovsky (Krasny Klyuch) and Salavatsky (Yangan-Tau Geopark) districts. This was announced by the head of the State Committee for Tourism of Bashkiria Elmira Tukanova.

Directions to attractions are distributed at gas stations and hotels. A total of 480,000 copies were published in Russian and English.

For the convenience of independent tourists, the weekendrb.ru page was launched in early May 2021. It contains information about the places of accommodation in the city of Ufa, restaurants, excursions in Ufa and the Republic of Bashkortostan, sights nearby to Ufa.

In the future, it is planned to implement the function of purchasing tours in Bashkiria, as well as to register for a sightseeing tour on a double-decker bus. There is a tourist mobile application Terra Bashkiria.

For visiting tourists, a special "three-four-five" sale has been launched for booking a room on weekends. The campaign was supported by five leading hoteliers of Bashkortostan.

There are 1,023 signs on the roads of regional and municipal importance. The State Committee for Tourism RB, together with the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Bashkortostan, plans to install the rest of the signs in the amount of 457 pieces and duplicate plates in the Bashkir language on local roads in the amount of 512 pieces.
