Bashkiria authorities will try to get federal funds to construct new bridge in Ufa

The government of Bashkiria has prepared an application for 160 billion rubles within the framework of infrastructure lending, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development Rustam Muratov announced at the Transport Hour session. These funds are planned for the construction of 173 social, transport, and utility facilities.

Among the priority applications are the construction of a bridge across Belaya in the alignment of Internationalnaya Street (8.7 billion rubles) and the creation of the Ufa railway ring. These projects have a high degree of elaboration, the Deputy Prime Minister noted.

The application also includes projects for constructing utility networks in Ufa for new areas of mass housing construction - Zabelia and Zaufimye neighborhoods - through the mechanism of infrastructure bonds.

As part of infrastructure lending, by the end of 2023, the federal budget will allocate at least 500 billion rubles to the regions, the press service of the Bashkir Cabinet of Ministers recalled. Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his Address to the Federal Assembly that loans would be issued at a 3% interest rate for 15 years. Projects for funding will be selected on a competitive basis.
